At Nexus Kiosk, we respect your data integrity and the privacy of your merchants and customers. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, secure, utilize, and process transactional and telemetry information collected via our terminal devices, Kitchen Display System controllers, cloud dashboard operations, and central websites.

2. Information We Collect

To deliver our self-service checkout solutions, we process the following information channels:

  • Merchant Account Details: Your name, business name, phone number, email address, and billing information provided during implementation setup.
  • Transactional Data: Order breakdown, items chosen, taxes calculated, and order timestamps processed through physical terminal endpoints.
  • Telemetry & Device Diagnostics: Operational status, hardware response times, printer connection statuses, and KDS synchronization logs to monitor system stability.

3. Payment Processing & PCI Standards

All credit/debit card entries and contactless taps on our kiosks are routed directly to fully certified, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Nexus Kiosk does not process, store, or transmit raw payment card numbers (PAN) or security PIN codes on its physical devices or central cloud servers, utilizing point-to-point hardware tokenization instead.

4. How We Utilize Your Data

Data collected is strictly used for the following operational workflows:

  • To process food and beverage checkout requests and route item tickets directly to active Kitchen Display Systems (KDS).
  • To populate your Cloud Management Dashboard with live transaction statistics and sales statistics.
  • To debug physical device diagnostics, handle hardware software updates, and prevent fraudulent transactions.

5. Information Sharing Policies

Nexus Kiosk does not sell, rent, trade, or distribute merchant or customer transaction data to third-party marketing services. We only share information with certified service partners (such as direct card payment processors, secure POS integration systems, and host cloud servers) strictly under confidentiality terms.

6. Merchant Control & Privacy Rights

7. Security Safeguards

We enforce commercial security measures—including TLS encryption on all data routes, strict token authorizations on API requests, and physical locks on countertop/floor-stand terminals—to protect data against unauthorized leaks, alteration, or damage.
